Aging but clean. A good value. For some reason I was upgraded to a unit with three queen beds and a kitchenette. Lots of little things were broken or worn -- toilet paper holder broken, broken floor tiles, missing light switch knobs, missing bulb, clogged air filter in the AC / heater. Linens and bath were clean. The kitchenette was decent. It even had a full range - I could have baked a cake! Minimal but usable set of cookware and dishes, but it was good that I had my own dish soap, as none was provided. I washed my dishes before using them, and unsurprisingly found bits of stuck-on food. There is only one small table and one chair to sit and eat, weird in light of three queen beds, and there being room for a bigger table The upstairs neighbors had children and dogs running back and forth from midnight until 1:30am. I was awake anyway, so I didn't complain, but I wouldn't stay on the ground floor again. Otherwise quiet.
I travel quite a bit and I do operate on a strict budget so with that said.... I read all the reviews on this place and all the others in the price range/area, this establishment seemed to be less risky, considering quality, safety ease of check in. I was correct. Room 212 was updated and full suite with oven/stove, refridge and all the kitchen utensils, full bath and the super comfy bed. Check in was a breeze; guy was super friendly and I got a call back in under 5 minutes when I left a message checking availability/pricing. It was very quiet. As a single male, I was aware of my surroundings and felt secure BUT this complex is boarder line sketchy as is the area. Very well lit so that is good. Room was clean but the exterior was pretty dirty. Great A/C. This is an extended stay complex so there is some low budget tenants that are staying here. Garbage piled in the staircases and the walkways and stairwells need a serious power wash. Best upside is Lou's Dining Refined shares the parking lot with part of the complex. It is excellent old school and affordable. $39 16oz prime rib (Th-Sat) with all the fix'ns. Loaded spud, salad, roll and an excellent cut of beef. Affordable drinks. Out the door with tip, $70. I was not up for checking out Club 307 (8hr drive from Boise), across the street from Lou's, but if you need to get your swerve on, they are open till 2. All the restaurants in town close at 9.. 10 at the latest. I am confident that all the rooms are NOT the same but 212... excellent!! Great value. Oh the coffee is Folgers ... Carmel flavored... WHY???
Absolutely amazing service, and i could write a book on how awesome the unit was, i have NEVER received such a bargain on what was a very nicely decorated, and huge, clean well appointed studio apt for a night!! Thank you to the staff for all your help too!!!
Stayed here for a week when my car had broken down when I was passing through and the mechanic had to order the part that was needed to fix it. And I must say along with being affordable the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff was just amazing and accommodating all the way around plus the location was a big help with me being on foot the restaurant nearby and the gas station and down the street was a huge convenience definitely be staying here again when I'm passing back through on my way home.
